Claims to fame (a.k.a. why you should work with me)
Clients love my work
I’ve been lucky enough to work with excellent clients over the years, and I feel incredibly proud (if not a wee bit embarrassed) to say I’ve received many notes and emails thanking me for my work. I’ve also been the recipient of “Freelancer of the Month.” You can check out my LinkedIn profile for a fraction of those recommendations.
I consistently meet deadlines & proactively communicate with clients
I take deadlines very seriously. (Some might say too seriously, but I digress.) I also stay in contact with clients to ensure they’re getting everything they need from our partnership — without unnecessarily adding to their workload.
My work converts
Because I’ve had so much experience in many formats, across multiple industries, I’ve been able to concentrate my knowledge of well-converting content for my B2B and B2C clients.
I have Nearly a decade of professional writing experience
I’ve been doing this for almost ten years, so I’ve had the opportunity to hone my skills to the point that I’ve landed my clients T.V. interviews and written countless top-ranking articles.

Here’s What else you should know about me.
I’ve been a professional writer since 2015, after graduating with a journalism degree from Boston University.
Origin story: I got my start as a staff writer at NerdWallet, where I worked on a wide variety of projects for the content team, including collaborating on social media campaigns, contributing to gated content, creating quizzes and online tools, and conceptualizing and executing a new content series.

Ok, but seriously, after about two years at NerdWallet, I made the move to freelancing.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of startups and SaaS companies in the B2B and B2C spaces, as well as traditional publications.
My work has been featured in publications like the L.A. Times, U.S. News and World Report, Farther Finance, Teen Vogue, Grammarly, The Startup, Mashable, Insider, Forbes, Writer (formerly Qordoba), MarketWatch, CNBC, and USA Today, among others.

I made the leap from a full-time job to freelancing in 2018. Terrifying? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. Because now I get to work with amazing clients, writing about topics I love, like tech, organization, communication, money, and productivity.

Figuring out the puzzle. Every article, blog post, case study — every piece of content is a puzzle of SEO needs, storytelling, goals, and available tools. My job lets me take a ton of variables and figure out how to put them together in a way that makes sense and doesn’t make readers want to click away in 3.2 seconds.

I’m fully satisfied with the freelance lifestyle and don’t have an interest in staff positions. However, that doesn’t mean I’m against long-term partnerships with companies or organizations. In fact, most of my work these days is for long-term clients. This allows me to learn the ins and outs of my clients’ businesses and create content that aligns with their needs and values.
